Zoom Rent A Car is an offsite Vehicle Rental Agency located at 5945 Dixie Rd in Mississauga Ontario. Please call us for our free Airport shuttle service if required at 905-670-7368 or 1-888-317-9666. Please note, the shuttle service is only available within business hours.

From Terminal 1: Take the escalators to door C and to level 2, Take the LINK train to Viscount Station and proceed to the ground level. There is a courtesy phone inside Viscount Station if needed.

From Terminal 3: Take the elevator at door D to level 3. Take the LINK train to Viscount Station and proceed to the ground level. There is a courtesy phone inside Viscount Station if needed.

Driver Licenses and Requirements

Any valid North American or International driver’s license is accepted (in English). A driver’s license must be physically Present. A digital version of a driver’s license is not acceptable. All non-residents of Canada must carry a valid passport. A major credit card under the driver’s name is required.

Security Deposit

We accept all major credit cards for security deposit (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Diners Club). We do not accept debit cards, prepaid cards, cash or checks as a valid form of security deposit. Your security deposit may vary from $1000 to $1500 for all standard vehicle rentals. Other vehicle classes will require a $1500 to $2500 security deposit. All Luxury/Exotic car rentals will require a minimum of $5000.00 security. The security deposit amount plus all rental charges must be chargeable at time of rental.

Payment Methods

We accept the following methods of payment:

Debit Card, VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Diners Club and cash. We do not accept cheques as a valid form of payment.

Pick-Ups and Drop-Offs

We provide a free shuttle service to and from the International Airport and any Hotels within the vicinity of the Airport during our regular business hours. We also offer a 24 hour key drop off for rental returns at our location. For any returns outside of business hours, client is responsible for arranging own transportation to the airport. See below to arrange your pick up shuttle upon arrival:

From Terminal 1 Arrivals:

1. Follow signs for Link Train to Level 2
2. Cross over to Parking Garage on West Bridge
3. Turn left on exiting Bridge to Link Train Station
4. Take Link Train to Viscount Station (2nd stop)
5. At Viscount Station Proceed downstairs to Car
6. Rental Shuttle (Zoom courtesy phone in lobby).

From Terminal 3 Arrivals:

1. Follow signs to elevator at Door “D”
2. Take elevator to Level 3
3. Turn right on exiting elevator to Sheraton Hotel Bridge
4. Cross over bridge to Link Train Station
5. Prior to entering the Sheraton Hotel
6. Turn left for elevator
7. Turn right for escalator
8. Take Link Train to Viscount Station (1st Stop)
9. At Viscount Station Proceed downstairs to Car
10. Rental Shuttle (Zoom courtesy phone in lobby)

Mileage Restrictions & Geographic Restrictions

For Airport clients, the maximum kilometers allowed per contract or per reservation is 3000 kilometers if the vehicle remains within the province of rental location. This applies to minimum 7 day rentals. If the vehicle travels outside the province of rental location, is less than 7 days rental or if you are a local renter, you are allowed 200 kilometers daily up to a maximum of 3000 kilometers monthly. Any non standard vehicle rental such as Vans, Luxury Cars, Commercial Trucks and buses have kilometer restrictions per category. Contact us for specific details for these vehicle types. Additional charges will apply for out of province or cross border travel and must be approved before rental is taken.

Fuel Policy

Vehicle must be returned at the same level of fuel as when rented to avoid a service charge of $30 plus any cost of fuel.

The renter is not allowed to lend the rented car to someone else.

IT IS FORMALLY PROHIBITED FOR THE RENTER TO:

Carry illegal goods, explosives, radioactive products etc.

Drive under the influence of intoxicants.

Drive on the beach.

Propel, tow any vehicle, trailer, etc.

Transfer persons & goods subject to payment consideration.

Drive the car in any race, driver test, or speed contest.

Out of Province travel or crossing border to USA

If travelling out of province or cross border this must be mentioned at the time of the rental. An additional charge of $9.99 daily will apply for out of province and $12.99 daily for USA travel. Zoom receives notification when vehicles cross provincial or territorial boundaries and any non-authorized travel out of province or to the USA will incur a service charge of $100 above and beyond any additional charges.

Zoom Rent A Car Reservations Commitments & Terms

All reserved vehicles will be held for 2 hours beyond your reservation time given at time of booking. If you are late by more than two hours we cannot guarantee you a car. 

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@zoomrentals.com.

1. Standard Vehicles (Compact, Economy, Intermediate, Midsize, Full-Size):
2. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time to avoid charges.
3. Cancellations made within 72 hours of pickup will incur a fee of $69.99 + taxes or one day’s rental at the current rate, whichever is greater.
4. Last-Minute Bookings:
5. Reservations made within 72 hours of the pickup time are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
6. Specialty Vehicles (5–7 Passenger SUVs, 7–12 Passenger Vans, Convertibles, Luxury, or Specialty Vehicles):
7. These bookings are strictly non-cancellable and non-refundable, regardless of notice.

Early Returns Policy

Early returns will be accommodated but reservation can not be prorated and no credit for unused time will be given.

Rental Extension / Late Return Policy

We cannot guarantee any requested extension on existing rental and it will be based on availability. Any requests for extensions must be made via phone or email at least 48 hours prior to the original return time. Any extensions if available will be at the regular rates. Combining two or more reservations/promotions is not permitted regardless of the new agreement/reservation. A 48-hour gap is required between bookings.

LDW or CDW insurance Policy

Proof of insurance is mandatory in this province. To decline our LDW (Loss Damage Waiver) packages, valid insurance documentation must be presented at the rental counter when picking up the vehicle. Please note, that credit card insurance does not cover anything other than the rental vehicle itself, and a mandatory charge of $9.99 will apply for anyone using the credit card coverage.

We strongly recommend reviewing your certificate of insurance online or contacting your provider directly before renting or opting out of any coverage. Coverage requirements for international drivers, underage drivers, and G2 license holders may differ and will be applied accordingly. be: LDW $29.99/day ($2500 deductible) , LDW $34.99/day ($1500 deductible)

Age Requirements

1. Minimum Age of 23* for non-specialty standard vehicle rentals.
2. Minimum Age of 25 for Luxury Vehicles and 12 Passenger Vans
3. Maximum Age of 75 for all vehicles

*Surcharge of $20/day applied to drivers between 23 and 25.

Additional Drivers

Up to 2 additional drivers are permitted to be added to the rental contract at an additional charge of $10.00/day per additional driver.

Moving Trucks

We are proud to offer moving trucks to our customers. Moving trucks may be requested for daily rentals during weekdays but are rented out in 6 hour blocks on weekends and at the end of each month.

Moving Truck Km

50 free kilometers are included in all weekday moving rentals.

25 free kilometers per 6 hour blocks for weekends and end of month rentals.
